Why Are We Missing? Why Aren't We Doing Something About It?

I see every day just being on Facebook or Instagram that someone is missing, especially young females. We are abducted, raped, killed, and a lot of other things, that is not right. There are families out here suffering because their daughter, sisters, nieces, granddaughters, etc. are still missing or worse, they have been killed. I do not think no one should have to go through something like that, the hurt and pain of losing someone to that kind of violence. I really hate to see these females taken from their homes and families. I think we need to start educating our children on the dangers of the world and people. Unfortunately, we can't trust everyone we encounter and know, it is sad but true. If you need to get them pepper spray, a taser, or just teach them to fight where they can escape from someone that is trying to abduct them. I just think there are some way to help these numbers decrease. I think with all this technology and social media, someone must know something. And it is bad that no one had helped those who are still missing.

I read on the CNN website, there are about 88,089 active missing person records and 32,121 are under 18 years old. That was in December of 2017, as of today, I am pretty sure there is so many more. At one-point, most of these young ladies were taken by a relative. If you cannot trust family, who can you trust? Knowing interesting facts like that and wanting kids one day, makes it hard to even want them. More than half these females that were reported missing were African American and Latinas. These numbers are ridiculous period, should not be nowhere near that missing females. If that is just numbers for women, I hate to see total numbers for all missing people ever.

Now, what I want to know is, the females that are still missing, where are they? Are they still out there alive? Are they dead? Are they involve with sex trafficking? Were they involved with organ trafficking? These are questions that need answers, but no one is answering them. But why? Why aren't these people able to go back to their families or give these families closure? So, why are we missing and why aren't we doing something about it?

If you have any questions, concerns, need help, etc. than just research different organizations to get the help you or someone you know the help that is well needed.
